Complaints
If you believe the Sun Valley Tribune has fallen short of its standards, you can complain to the publication. This page explains how to complain and what happens next.
We correct our errors in public, promptly and visibly. Complaints may concern accuracy, fairness, privacy, or the conduct of our reporting.
How complaints are handled
- A complaint about a factual error is handled under our corrections policy: significant factual errors are corrected on the article page, with a dated correction note describing what changed.
- Minor errors of spelling, style, or clarity are fixed without a note.
- We do not unpublish articles except in extraordinary circumstances; updates are appended, never silently substituted.
Make a complaint
Use the contact form with the topic “General correspondence.” Include the article URL, what you are complaining about, and the outcome you are seeking.
We read every complaint. Where a complaint is upheld, we correct the record as described in our corrections policy, and the correction is noted on the article it concerns.
